20 Pictures That Are Way Too Real On The Eyes
The wonderful world we live in has so much to offer. In our everyday lives, who knew it could offer such amazing sights from all over the place. In the age of smartphones, we can capture and share some of the most eyebrow-raising images like never before. Photoshop has caused us to question what is real and what is fake in the pictures we find, but the truth is often stranger than fiction.
Look Out Below!
It might not be a great photo for people who are afraid of heights, but it's still cool to look at. This was actually taken from the 88th floor of the atrium at the Hyatt Shanghai hotel. The hotel is a five-star, 555-room that's a tenant in the Jin Mao Tower.
Two Bullets That Collided
What are the odds of this happening? These bullets collided midair during the Battle of Gallipoli during WWI. Bullets do collide, but it's pretty rare to find something like this perfectly intact. If you take a closer look, the left bullet doesn't have any rifling on it, whereas the bullet on the right does.
Who's A Wood Boy?
His bark is worse than his bite. This is one realistic German Sheppard, made from an entire tree stump. At least the dog didn't suffer the same fate as Pinocchio. This is definitely a 10/10 good boy. If you think that's cool, wait until you see a cat with two different eye colors!
Spherical Clouds Are Amazing
Bizarre photos were coming out of Japan as people didn't know what to think about these circular clouds. While the photo was shot at Shonandai station, some have suggested that the spherical cloud is actually a roll cloud, which is a rare type of low, horizontal cloud formation that appears as a result of cold fronts, which are associated with thunderstorms.
Stunt Doubles
I don't think I remember this episode. Actually, it's a photo of the stunt doubles from Game of Thrones. Khaleesi's stunt double looks almost identical to Emilia Clarke and it's appropriate to see Tyrion's stunt double hacking a dart. I think we're ready for a spinoff!
These Eyes Though
These cats are often referred to as odd-eye cats. It's a form of complete heterochromia, which affects white cats more than any other kind. This isn't just a trait in cats though, as humans can also carry the two colored eye gene. Two colored cats are one thing, but birds who levitate is a whole different story.
Cotton Picker Concert
A cotton picker on a farm at night looks exactly like a concert. It even fooled me when I saw this photo, so let's have some fun with it, shall we? Concertgoers are about to get hit with some heavy metal. Maybe they're about to rage against the machine too.
The Bump
The miracle of birth is pretty amazing. Look at how small this woman is, but how big her baby bump has gotten. She's growing another HUMAN inside of herself!
Visible From The Human Eye
This is the area where stars that are visible from Earth compared to the entire Milky Way galaxy. All the stars in the photo that are noticeable to the naked eye are highlighted in blue. As you can see, there's plenty that most of us will probably never see in our lifetime.
Back In The USSR
This abandoned space shuttle from the scrapped Soviet "Buran" space shuttle program looks pretty creepy. The program was canceled in 1993 after the collapse of the Soviet Union and it's been sitting there ever since. Only one unmanned orbital flight was ever completed and now, everything has gone to rust or dust.
Who Wore It Better?
Kind of hard to tell who wore this one better. That phone case is pretty snazzy looking, but that person flipped the pattern and rocked the zig-zags on top. Which of these two wore it better?
Up There Near The Seventh Wonder Of The World
Tourists waited until the official visiting hours were over at Egypt's iconic Giza Necropolis before starting their climb. Somehow, they escaped security's attention at the ancient site, and were able to snap photos like the one above. It's great to see tourists take illegal action just so they can get a photo of one of the seven wonders of the world.
SuperSheep
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Supersheep! This sheep got some serious airtime, and no fence can contain him. It's pretty similar to Michael Jordan's air dunk, but with a farm animal instead. This is the same feeling you get when your boss lets you leave early on a Friday.
Jack And Jill Went Down The Hill
This is what happens when you roll down a hill and take a panoramic photo. It looks like the world is in a bottle, kind of like those ships made in a bottle. This is the view Jack and Jill probably got when the stumbled down the hill to catch a pail of water.
Look Way, Way Up
Not only is that sunflower huge, but it is also very tall! It must be in a very happy little spot there to have grown so marvelously. Too bad they're too high to smell.
It's A Perfect Bubble
The surface tension created by the water sitting on the spikes of this cactus is allowing the bubble to stay perfectly round and full. I would leave it there to see how long it could last.
Talk About A Heat Wave
There are places in the world where it gets so hot that the fans will melt! Let's hope that those fans aren't too much money if they have to be replaced every summer.
It's A Ghost Dog
This person was taking pictures of their dog while they were having a fun time jumping around in the kitchen. The result? A dog that looks like a ghost haunting the kitchen.
Something To Summon All The Kyles
I've heard of wanting to upcycle things, but this seems a little bit crazy. I can't think of one person who would want a Monster can candle with all the lettering poked out.
It's Like Something Out Of A Cartoon
If this was a cartoon, you know that a little dog would have been the thing that made the hole in the window. But, since life is not a cartoon it's just a coincidence.
That's A Lot Of Spice
Opening a bag of Doritos and finding a big ball of flavor is like winning the snack jackpot. Would you eat it as it is? Or break it up and have extra powdery chips?
How Cute Are Those?
If I went to sit down in my lecture hall and found these two little paper cranes I would feel like it was the universe doing something really nice for me.
Everyone Loves Chocolate
How could you not help but smile if you opened up a fresh container of ice cream and you saw this looking up at you? Not only is it tasty, but it's friendly, too.
Wear Sunscreen, Everyone
This foot and hand belong to the same person. The only difference is that this person's hand has a lot of sun damage from working outside a lot of their life.
The Healthy Donut
This mushroom in a yard looks just like a giant chocolate donut, and if that doesn't serve as a reminder from nature itself to eat vegetables every time you want to reach for warm sweet baked goods, I don't know what does.
The Birds Had A Pillow Fight
Or so it looks like. This is actually just frost on the windshield, and no birds were harmed during a bird attack here. The same can't be said about the cracks the ice might cause in the windshield.
The Car Set Up Shop By The Shop
Although this is just a reflection of the coffee shop window that makes it look like the car is selling café goods out of its trunk, it actually would be a very clever business idea. Rather than buy a whole food truck, just set up shop in the back of the family van!
Godzilla Is Taking Over
How cool would be it to live out a Godzilla movie in real life? Although it might be scary, it would bring some excitement into town. Too bad all this is is a lizard crawling on the windshield.
The Heart Of The Lake
If you think about it, nature is a living organism just like us. It requires food and water to survive. It would only make sense for it to have a heart then, even just metaphorically.
This frozen rock is a cool depiction of that.
What Is Life But An Artwork?
Life is all about perspective. The way you look at it plays a huge factor in the way that you live it. This is what looking at life out of a ruin in the Australian Outback looks like.
It looks like a framed picture on the wall.
The Aliens Are Amongst Us
Before you get too excited, this UFO sighting is nothing more than an indoor lamp being reflected in the window. It also just happens to be perfectly placed above a bolt of lightning.
The City Of The Dead
The view of this cemetery from a Tokyo hotel window looks like a cityscape. In a way, the dead are living in their own little world or city together, so this might not be far off from whatever they're doing in the afterlife.
This Is Not A Picture
Believe it or not, this is not a painting, but rather a photograph of Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia. Even Picasso's got nothing on Mother Nature, her strokes are flawless and will never cease to surprise us.
Cats Are Out Of This World
Cats are such innocent yet sneaky beings, so loving yet with no sense of loyalty, that they don't even feel real. These cats for example look like they were cross stitched into the bag even though they're very much alive inside.
Vegetarians Play Golf Too
This busted golf ball looks like it's made of meat, but no need to worry if you're vegetarian because it's just an illusion from the way that it was ripped.
Imagine if we were actually just hitting meat around.
A Hostage Situation
Although this looks like a very concerning situation with victims lined up against the wall, it's actually just a series of shrubs wrapped in burlap to protect them from the winter weather.
It's Gettin' Hot In Here
The reflection of the sun on this window is very concerning. It looks like a volcanic explosion went off right in the middle of their living room, except it's being entirely contained to that one room.
Space View From The Car
The frost on the roof of this car in the morning looks like it could be a snapshot of our planet captured by Google Earth from space. If it wasn't for the brick wall in the background, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Music Feels Like Home
The inside of this guitar looks like a fancy rustic yet modern apartment. They say music feels like home because it can make you feel calm and relaxed. This is not a home I could ever afford, however.
The Cursed Lava Pit
They say this lava pit looks like it's sucking the souls of the damned into Hell. It's probably got something to do with the way the rocks formed themselves into melting body shapes.
