May 20, 2019, the dust settled, and fans were perplexed with the ending of Game of Thrones. In case you didn't keep up with the last and final season, there are some spoilers in here -- beware. Since 2011, fans have admired the show's characters grown along with them. Even Beyoncé has a show favorite, Daenerys Targaryen.

Emilia Clarke, who famously plays the role of the Mother of Dragons, recently discussed her fear of Beyoncé not being a fan of her character anymore after the personality twist that Daenerys' character took. Can you blame her? The Targaryen went from a fierce woman of power to a tyrant in the span of one episode. When the singer and actress first met at Bey's Oscars after-party, she revealed that she loved Daenerys.

"I see this vision, this angel, this incredible woman float towards me," Clarke told the publication. "I can't quite control myself. And Beyoncé says to me, 'Oh, my goodness, it's so wonderful to meet you. I think you're brilliant.' I just couldn't handle it! I was on the verge of tears."

Not only was Clarke in awe of the moment, but she had a sudden realization that one of the people she admired the most might not feel the same fondness after Game of Thrones wrapped up. She felt this way due to the dramatic turnaround Daenerys has in the second to last episode of the series where she burned down all of King's Landing and the innocent people that inhabited it.

"Throughout the show, there have been these glorious moments of Daenerys taking on a very strong role in a battle or in a decision to be made. There were these wonderful moments when she takes control, and it's really liberating and beautiful," she explained. You have to figure it's those moments that make someone like Queen Bey become such a big fan of a character with a pet/child dragon named Drogon.

Sadly, Clarke feared the worst. "I was just, like, Oh, my God, my absolute idol in life is saying that she likes me, and I know for a fact that by the end of this season she's going to hate me," she said. Bey hasn't made a public statement about the show's finale, but we think she will still hold her same level of admiration towards the talented Clarke.
