1970 was the year that Kate Jackson got her first big shot with her first TV show Dark Shadows. She worked her way through plenty of TV shows such as The Rookies, Scarecrow and Mrs. King and finally Charlie’s Angels, which is probably the show for which she is best remembered. She has also been in a few movies as well, including Making Love (1982) and Loverboy (1989). She’s been on the cover of Time magazine, and her role as Mrs. King also earned her Germany’s Bravo Golden Otto Award for “Best Female TV Star” three times. Tabloid reports that she’s “living in squalor,” while there are also reports that she’s working on her memoir, The Smart One, which is scheduled for release in 2020.
