Kanye West’s latest album, “Jesus Is King”, seems to be making headlines every day. The album was supposed to be released September 27th and is still not here. However, despite the delay, the rapper has announced a partnership with IMAX to release a film in connection with the album.
IMAX and West are releasing a new film said to document the creation of West’s latest album. It will be released on October 25th. In a statement, IMAX called the film a “one-of-a-kind experience.”
“This one-of-a-kind experience features songs arranged by West in the gospel tradition along with music from his new album Jesus Is King — all presented in the immersive sound and stunning clarity of IMAX,” said the company.
West reportedly shared a sneak peek of the “Jesus is King” movie with fans during an album listening parties in Chicago, Detroit, and NYC on September 27th, 28th, and 29th, respectively.
West’s wife Kim Kardashian posted on social media that the album would be coming September 29th after the original delay. Yet, there is still no album. During the album listening experiences, he didn’t provide any insight on a possible release date. Fans will just have to continue to be patient.
