An American Favorite Straight From The Midwest
I had almost forgotten the theme to “Little House On The Prairie,” but when I heard the sweet and flowing melody of the song it all came back to me. If your sister is like my sister she was hooked on “Little House” when she was a child and teenager.
The innocence of the characters and wholesome complexity to the storyline made the show an astounding success. “Little House On The Prairie” is an amazing television series based on a series of American youth novels that take place in the midwest during the 1870s and 1880s. The novels were written by the famous writer, teacher, journalist, and farmer, Laura Ingalls Wilder. Ingalls was born on February 7th, 1867, in Pepin County, Wisconsin, and died February 10th, 1957. She lived to be 90-years-old and died in Mansfield, Missouri.
