Charles, Prince Charles. According to The Sun, Britain’s heir to the throne received a special offer to appear in the latest Bond installment starring Daniel Craig.

If Charles appears in the film, it wouldn’t be the first time a member of his family got their shot in the secret agent film series. His mother, Queen Elizabeth II had a short homage for the beginning of London’s 2012 Olympic Games. It was her debut in a movie and she “immensely enjoyed” the experience. Will Charles be the next to stand alongside 007?

“They loved the buzz around the Queen’s appearance alongside Daniel Craig and think Charles could top even that,” sources revealed to a UK paper. “He is the epitome of everything British, perfect for a cameo role and Bond fans worldwide would absolutely love it.”

The noise of Charles potentially seeing screen time in this flick started when he visited the set and posed in a few pictures with Craig. After that, he began to consider the opportunity. “If Charles doesn’t go for it Harry and Wills could be in producers’ sights next,” the source told the paper.

The upcoming untitled Bon flick has had a fair share of setbacks during the production. The star needed surgery on his ankle, an explosion happened on set, reportedly Grace Jones quit after only two minutes, and a few other mishaps. Bringing in a royal might be what the movie needs.
