This Restaurant Hires Grandmas From Around The World Instead Of Chefs

Who doesn’t adore their grandma’s cooking? I, for one, would give my right arm to have my nonna cook for me full-time. Everything she makes contains an extra dash of love that no other chef in town can recreate. Well, until now that is.

Enoteca Maria, an Italian restaurant in New York, employs grandmas of several different cultures to serve special family dishes to its customers. These grandmothers, who have no professional training at all, are hired to come in and cook their best dishes.

The restaurant has two kitchens: One dedicated exclusively to Italian grandmas, and the other to ladies of other cultures. So, if you’re desperate for a home-cooked meal or simply looking to expand your horizons, Enoteca Maria is a must-try. Find out more about this amazing new restaurant by watching the video below.
