Making money is a serious business. Things like, cash, flow, capital, assets, and net profitability are obviously important, but boring at the same time. Luckily, some companies take the time to have a little fun with their products.
They show the humor behind their jobs while spreading joy to everyone, all in the pursuit of making money. They should be appreciated for all of the hard work they do just so they can please the general public. Hopefully, you come across one of these hidden messages one day.
Just One Of A Kind
Talk about clever marketing. They actually create a positive reinforcement directly tied to their product, and ensure not only repeat customers, but viral advertising. The world needs more of this.
This comes from Gourmet Foods, Pakistan’s largest retail chain of food products. It has seven processing units across the country. It has outlets in Multan and Jalalpur. It also has international outlets which are located in London and one in New York City.
It’s not every night you go to a concert and have this on your can. Carbonated water is pretty much club soda and it goes well with vodka. The water used includes quinine. Carbonation is the process that causes water to become effervescent.
All forms of this water brand are available in ready-to-drink bottles. However, some can also be prepared at home by using a soda maker.
The Joke’s On You
What if this wasn’t a joke, but more of a dark and twisted reality? Just kidding, it’s SoBe, which stands for South Beach Beverage Company. The SoBo name has been licensed for gum and chocolate products too.
In 2010, SoBe switched from glass bottles to plastic bottles for all of its beverages. Their first drink product was SoBe black tea 3g. That contained ginseng, guarana, and ginkgo. It proved to be a popular flavor so the company introduced more.
That’s Strong Fashion Admiration Right There
Clearly, this isn’t for guys because it says “princess” but I think they got their point across. Clothing labels shouldn’t have to tell us something about ourselves. Labels have many uses like providing information on a product’s origin, but that’s nowhere to be found here.
It’s becoming more and more rare for people to actually check out the label before tossing it in the washing machine, but there are obvious reasons why you should be checking out the label. In many countries, hazardous products such as poisons or flammables must have a warning label.
You Gotta Love Nerds
Ahhh, nerds, they always have a way of making us feel good. I don’t think I’ve ever seen soldering points before. It looks unique but I guess they color code them or something like that.
However, don’t let that distract you from the fact that someone loves Star Wars and their job a bit too much. But, you can’t hate on them because they have a passion for something they love to do.
Don’t Look Down There
No one should look at the bottom of Innocent coconut water, ok. What? it’s not your fault it’s so delicious. The clear liquid inside coconut serves as a suspension for the endosperm of the coconut during the nuclear phase of development.
Fresh coconuts are harvested from the tree while they are green. A hole may be bored into the coconut to provide access to the liquid along with the meat inside of it too.
This Raincoat With A Floral Pattern
April showers bring May flowers. This is so innovative and artistic. This was a great way to turn a basic raincoat into two raincoats in one! It’s a perfect way to make the most of getting caught in the rain without the need for pina coladas.
Something like this would make a very cool Aunt or Uncle, to say the least. I would get caught out in the rain way more if it turns my bland jacket into something so beautiful.
PETA Might Not Get It
They might fit some large fluffy dogs like an Old English Sheepdog. PETA might not get the joke, but it’s not your fault they lack a sense of humor. To clarify, Top Gear is actually pretty good.
The retailer started out as a boutique in the sixties by James Wedge and Pat Booth. It was an influential shop to say the least. Marianne Faithfull, Mick Jagger, and The Beatles were all fans of the clothing brand.
For You To Pee Into
It’s funny and gross at the same time. But laughing when you are the urinal will get you some creeped out looks. American Standard Brands manufacture plumbing fixtures based out of Piscataway, New Jersey.
The company was formed as American Standard Americas from the North American operations of the kitchen and bathroom divisions. It’s owned by the Lixil Group, with the Bain Capital Partners holding a minority stake.
Somebody has an odd fascination for birds. I’m not sure why someone would put this on a circuit board. I guess it can get lonely making those boards all day long, so you have to get very creative.
These boards support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive tracks, pads, and other features that are etched on to them. Components are generally soldered onto the board to both connect and mechanically fasten them together
Give Us The Wine, That’s All We Want
Gee, I was going to just toss the box out. It’s not nice that this company is making us feel so stupid. However, you have to like it because it’s pretty funny. Winer drinkers will likely grab a cutter to get the box open for their daily glass.
This is a classic, but too bad there’s no button for you push to make the wine come out. That would make your life so much easier.
What kind of best results are we talking here? I guess it depends on whatever the use intended, but you’ll get a lot more coffee if you follow the instructions, that’s for sure. The bottom side down is if you want coffee going down the kitchen sink.
It would have been easier to actually put the logo on the bottom of the mug. But, I’m not the one responsible for making this.
I Can See Pancakes In Your Future
Woah! how did they know? They must be psychics. When this pancake mix hit the shelves in the forties, most people didn’t even own a TV. From camp-based breakfast to crews working on the Alaska pipeline, folks love to eat the product no matter where they go.
It remains one of their most popular products today. Luckily, with awesome ingredients and easy-to-use mixes, their pancakes and waffles are both winners!
Sand Snow Rivers Rocks
What an odd Easter egg this is. In cars, the foot rest, or the dead pedal, is supposed to be used to rest your left foot while driving. It serves no real function in the car, but many cars opt to implement it because it provides a number of benefits for the driver.
In manual transmission cars, the pedal is used to promote a smother actuation of the clutch. Automatic transition cars benefit from this because it prevents fatigue.
Family Owned, Operated And Argued Over
You might have been a little too tipsy to notice it before. Now, you know that there was a message on top of the can all of this time. This is smart marketing from this family, but they could have placed it anywhere on the can.
I get you’re doing this to promote your booze, but as long as it’s not broken up over some dumb dispute, it’s all good from here.
Glasses With A Message
This needs to be on every pair of glasses marketed to teenage girls. It’s cute and it’s a confidence booster too. She’s dearly missed already, but Kate Spade was a fashion icon. She sold her first handbag in 1993.
Shortly after, the initial products were released as new collections came out. They contained glasses, jewelry, and other small accessories. The company was recently purchased by Tapestry Inc. formerly known as Coach.
A Mountain Inside The Water Bottle
This is actually quite creative. In popular culture, Evian is a luxury and expensive water. It was named in Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. It’s popular amongst celebrities too. In 2008, the Evian Water Protection Institute was created to work on three water and wetland management projects.
The three areas are: Thailand’s Bung Khong, La Plata Basin in Agrentina, and the Jagdishour Reservoir in Nepal. The company also joined Recyclebank in an effort to get consumers to recycle.
Rolling In The Deep
It might be a fake message but I believe the administration calls it “alternative facts.” The third-largest pizza chain in the United States was founded in 1959. The original store in Garden City, Michigan is still open today.
The company is famous to its advertising catchphrase “Pizza! Pizza!” which was introduced in 1979. The phrase refers to two pizzas being offered for the comparable price of single pizza from its competitors.
I hope nobody acknowledged this and used its powers for evil. Their legal department made them add the “when properly hog-tied” as a caveat. Then, they can always argue the three perps were not properly hog-tied.
The copper cable it uses has power to carry over this cable. That allows devices with moderate power requirements to operate without a separate power supply. Better known as the IEEE 1394, it’s comparable to a USB. Though, USB’s require a master controller and it has a better market share.
Smiley Face Under This Keyboard Knob
It’s not everyday you see faces that are like emojis on an electronic keyboard. Someone must have forgotten to turn the knobs after they purchased it. Unlike a synthesizer, the electronic piano is not an electronic instrument.
Instead, it’s an electro-mechanical instrument. Some early electric pianos used lengths of wire to produce a tone, like a traditional piano. These electronic pianos were invented the late twenties. In 1929, the Neo-Bechstein electric grand piano was among the first.
