Adam said of the event, “The whole time it was, to me, kind of a done deal that I was going to get stabbed in the process, but I knew that this wasn’t something I could wake up to … every day with that memory that I watched her die.” Thankfully, the woman lived through the horrifying event.

A Canadian lawmaker who stood nearby the incident loudly yelled at Trudeau, “What kind of man elbows a woman? It’s pathetic!” The two then exchanged words in front of everyone.

CBC News reported that MP Peter Van Loan said, “I witnessed as [Trudeau] strode across the floor with an anger fierce, in his face and eyes, towards a group of individuals. What took place was the prime minister physically grabbing people, elbowing people, hauling them down the way.”
