Along with her husband Joel, Victoria Osteen is a co-pastor at the Lakewood Church, a nondenominational megachurch in Houston, Texas that averages about 52,000 attendees per week, making it the largest congregation in the United States. Victoria’s part of the service is also broadcast on Daystar Television Network as a one-hour program.
Osteen attended the relatively conservative Church of Christ when she was growing up, and her mother taught Sunday school while her father served as a deacon. She also appears on the Houston radio station 89.3 KSBJ and released a New York Times Bestseller in 2008 titled Love Your Life: Living Happy, Healthy, and Whole. Osteen has had some legal troubles.
