It’s Freaky How Much These Celebrities Look Like Each Other

It isn't easy being famous and having one of the most recognizable faces in the world. Paparazzi follow you to lunch, fans stop you for selfies on the street, and you have basically zero privacy. Try doing that, but double time. Some celebs have to deal with their own fame, and someone else's.

These celebrities don't have just any old doppelgänger, they have fellow celebrity doppelgängers. Some of them find it flattering to be compared to another star, while others get pretty annoyed by it. One celeb even called out some tourists on camera for mistaking him for another actor. See if you can tell these stars apart.

Dramatic Drumming Duo

One of the longest-running lookalike friendships in Hollywood is between comedy actor Will Ferrell and the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chad Smith. The two have long been aware of their resemblance, and often play up to it. Smith will wear "I Am Not Will Ferrell" shirts on-stage.

Smith has said he didn't think they looked alike at first, and when he and Ferrell met for the first time, Ferrel walked up and said, "You're very handsome," and walked away completely deadpan. The two recently played up their resemblance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon by showing up in the same outfit and having a drum-off.

Harry Potter and Frodo Baggins, or should we say Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood, are aware that people love to mix them up. Someone even took the time to make a pretty creepy gif of the two morphing together. The two were nice about it at first. The two would sign autographs as each other and have some harmless Twitter battles.

But now the two think the joke needs to die. If a fan mistakes Radcliffe for Wood, he won't sign their autograph or tell them who he is. The two have also jokingly threatened to fight each other. Long story short, be extra careful if you see one of them.

Amy Adams and Isla Fisher are regularly mixed up in the press, by other celebs, and even their own families. Lady Gaga hilariously came up to Fisher after the 2014 Oscars to congratulate her for her performance in American Hustle, and Fisher couldn't bring herself to correct the pop star that it was actually Adams who won the award.

Both actresses have remained lighthearted about it. While visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live! Fisher released a mock PSA explaining the differences between her and Adams. Fisher even photoshopped Adams' face onto hers for a Christmas card and no one in her family noticed!

Another pair of redheads who spend most of their time correcting fans is singer Ed Sheeran and actor Rupert Grint. Some people had pointed out the similarities, but the comparisons exploded in 2011 after Grint starred as Sheeran's stalker fan in his music video for "Lego House."

It gets better. Fast forward a few years and Sheeran clearly didn't plan out his Halloween costume and improvised in the best way possible, by going as Ron Weasley. After Sheeran realized his latest album, X, in 2017, Grint once again impersonated the singer in an MTV special performance. We love that these two can continue to joke about their similar appearance.

The two are complete jokesters about it and love to have fun when they can. Stamos recently posted a video while on vacation asking a tourist what they thought his name was. (They got it wrong). The look-alike jokes don't stop there. Both actors have been fuelling jokes for years that the two secretly dated years ago. It would be a little creepy, but they'd easily be the best-looking couple since Brangelina.
