Jay Leno drove his 1909 Baker Electric car to the “Revenge Of The Electric Car” Premiere held at Landmark Nuart Theatre on October 21, 2011, in Los Angeles, California.
The Baker Electric was well ahead of its time. This amazing piece of futuristic technology was capable of driving nearly 100 miles on a single charge. It only traveled at 22 miles per hour but along with some modern-day features, it was well ahead of its time.
