Brandon Cole Margera was born to April and Phil Margera on September 28, 1979. The younger sibling of Jess Margera, Brandon has an uncle, Vincent Margera, who passed away in 2015.

His nickname was “Bam Bam” by his grandfather because he was constantly running into walls. Eventually, he shortened it to Bam for his classmates.
