Céline Dion: The No-Haircut Mom

Céline Dion seems to have decided to take a children-at-the-helm kind of parenting style, allowing for her oldest son, René Charles, to dictate when he wants a haircut. This means he did not have any kind of haircut for the first eight years of his life and wore his flowing locks down his back.

Dion told Oprah her son would “cut his hair when he’s ready.” As a teenager, it seems as though he has now had one. He seems like a fairly well-adjusted and normal teenager so perhaps this was a great choice to give him the option on her part.
