Celebrity Reunion Selfies That Will Send You Back To A Better Time
It seemed like 2017 was the year that the world tried to reboot anything we could. Full House, Will & Grace, and even Roseanne made it back on the airwaves. While not all our favorite TV shows, movies, and bands are going to make a comeback, in the meantime, we have Instagram to fuel the fire.
These selfies made us all nostalgic and reminded us of the good old days of quality TV sitcoms, racy teenage romcoms, and the some of the best movies of all time. One reunion even sparked a re-make of a famous kiss. The only thing that can break the internet faster than Kim K. is a cast reunion selfie.
The Fresh Prince Cast Chilling Out, Maxing, Relaxing All Cool

It seems like every year there is a new rumor about a Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reboot, but Will Smith has always been outspoken against it. But just because the cast isn’t together on screen doesn’t mean that they won’t get together for a selfie. The cast shared lunch together, but the stars all spoke out about missing James Avery, who played Uncle Phil and passed away in 2013.
Smith may have denied doing a reboot, but the rumor mill started up in February when talks about a “Fresh Princess” of Bel-Air began.
These Legends Never Died

If the names Smalls, Ham, Squints, DeNunez, Yeah-Yeah, Timmy, Bertram and Repeat don’t mean anything to you, then stop right now a watch The Sandlot. The actors that played these memorable characters got together to remind us that summer is for baseball.
The film is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year, and while many of the child actors didn’t go on to have substantial acting careers, their work inspired many players in the MLB today. Players from the New York Yankees even recreated a scene from the movie in 2015.
An Especially Heinous Reunion Selfie

These two dedicated detectives made sure they keep the dream alive that Chris Meloni might finally return as Detective Stabler to Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Mariska Haggerty is currently the longest reigning TV character with over 400 episodes under her belt. If she can do more than 400, surely Meloni has a few more episodes felt in him.
Since leaving Law and Order SVU, Meloni has taken on an exciting new project called Happy! where he plays an alcoholic hitman, who can see a blue cartoon horse named Happy. Look, I’m sure that TV show is good, but he isn’t part of an elite squad investigating vicious felonies so, what’s the point?

The Reunion With The Best Lighting Ever

I dare you to try and find a reunion selfie with better cheekbones and highlights than the Spice Girls. These five pop stars put the entire internet into a frenzy when each of them posted a version of this selfie on their accounts. There had been rumors leading up to the selfie that there might be a legit reunion, but fans were pretty skeptical.
Well everyone was wrong because the five girls confirmed they are back together and working on “new opportunities.” I don’t know what these new opportunities are, but I do know I’ve been saving up all my girl power for this very moment.
That 2010’s Show

It’s easy to assume the people who work together when they’re just teenagers might drift apart as they get older, but the cast of That 70’s Show proved us all wrong. The six got together for a weekend of fun and games. Wilmer Valderrama captioned his version of the selfie with #family, showing us that these bonds last a lifetime.
Of course, two of the cast are a little closer than the rest. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis became couple goals when they went from on-screen high school sweethearts to real-life sweethearts. The two married in 2015 and have two children together.
These Two Cruel Intentions Stars Have The Best Intentions

Sixteen years after the film was released, Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar reunited and gave the fans what they wanted by recreating one of the hottest on-screen kisses in history. Blair posted the photo to her Instagram and captioned it, “My lessons paid off!!” referencing the scene where Geller teaches her how to french kiss.
Even though Cruel Intentions only scored 49% on Rotten Tomatoes, the film was a cult hit and smashed box office expectations. The filmmakers tried to release both a sequel and a prequel but neither was successful, so it doesn’t look like an on-screen reunion will happen anytime soon.
Coming up, Tom Hanks has many castmates we’d be happy to see him reunite with, but this one takes the cake.
The Lord Of The Rings Cast Are Still Getting Into Trouble Together

This reunion is certainly star-studded. Frodo, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, and Legolas, wait, we mean Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, Viggo Mortensen, and Orlando Bloom, all met for dinner recently and had some fun in a cutlery battle.
The entire Lord of the Rings cast is supposedly very close, even getting matching tattoos together. Once you get a matching tattoo with Sir Ian McKellen, you’ve peaked in life. No true LOTR fans would expect an on-screen reunion since “it’s not in the books,” but we’re happy to settle for these hilarious dinner selfies.
This Selfie Makes Up For Everything Draco Did To Harry

Any reunion photo by Harry Potter cast members have a way of making us feel really, really old. These kids were as young as 10 when they started filming, and it seems like they grew up in front of our eyes. The actor who played Neville Longbottom, Matthew Lewis, is known for executing the most impressive glo-up of all time.
Lewis met up with Emma Watson and Tom Felton, who played Hermione and Draco, for Watson’s 28th birthday and it gave us all the feels. But everyone was left wondering, where’s Harry and Ron? Knowing them, they are probably up to no good and Hermione will have to bail them out.
Wilson Survived Afterall

It’s not the cast reunion we ever expected, but it’s the cast reunion we all deserved. I think we can all agree we cried collective, silent, tears when Tom Hank’s Castaway character accidentally lost his BFF volleyball Wilson in the water. Hanks and Wilson were reunited at a New York Rangers game after Hanks was put on the jumbotron and posed perfectly with the volleyball.
I like to think that Wilson floated his way around the waters of the world, bringing joy and friendship to other people stranded on islands, but came home eventually to be with his ride or die.
The Spice Girls weren’t the only one reigniting girl power. Keep reading to see which ladies of this TV show got together to celebrate a holiday they created.
Jerry Looks Like He Can’t Believe Seinfeld Was 20 Years Ago

We can’t believe it either! Seinfeld premiered in 1998, and it looks like 20 years later, the two stars of the sitcom are still laughing it up together. Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus were reunited backstage for David Letterman’s final show, and I think we can all agree that this selfie stole the show.
Seinfeld didn’t need to do much after the show ended since he’s the highest paid actor in the entire world with an estimated $820 million fortune. Louis-Dreyfus, on the other hand, continued to act and now stars in the HBO show, Veep.
Zac Efron Was Too Cool For A High School Musical Reunion

Last year marked the 10th anniversary of the coming-of-age Disney film, High School Musical, and the cast got together to celebrate and snapped this selfies. Say what you want about the movie, it inspired a generation of kids and sparked a change in Disney movies. Oh yeah, and it launched the careers of a few specific cast members, notably, Zac Efron.
Efron is by far the most successful of the cast, and he was noticeably missing from the reunion selfie. The official story was the Efron was busy filming, but reports say his on-screen girlfriend and real-life ex, Vanessa Hudgens, didn’t want him there. It sounds like the drama doesn’t end after high school.
A Perfect Galentine’s Day

Parks and Rec fans have a lot of things to thank the show for, but all the ladies are in debt to Leslie Knope for creating Galentine’s Day. Galentine’s Day happens each year on February 13th and is all about ladies celebrating ladies. Well, of course, the ladies of the show had to reunite to celebrate this past February 13th.
Kathryn Han, Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler, and Aubrey Plaza got together and broke the female side of Twitter with this Galentine’s selfie. It warms our heart to see that ladies supporting ladies isn’t just an on-screen bluff.
Next, the bromance has never stopped for the actors from this beloved sitcom.
Sorry, Destinys Child, But I Want All The Scrubs

Does it count as a reunion photo if your on-screen BFF is your real life BFF? Zach Braff and Donald Faison have a well-documented bromance off screen that rivals only the bromance between their Scrubs characters, JD and Turk. Faison wearing jeans to a backyard Easter barbecue is such a Turk move.
These Scrubs stars haven’t ruled out a reunion, so fans of the show may be in luck. On Twitter, Braff told the internet that he was “very jealous of all this Gilmore Girls attention, and Full House” so the cast will talk about a reunion now and then.
Rachael Leigh Cook Is Still All That

Only ’90s kids will remember how much Shes All That changed their lives. A jock falling in love with a complete nerd? There was finally hope for the rest of us. Those ’90s vibes never went away, and Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook knew it. The two met up for coffee and snapped a quick selfie to remind us all that Zach and Laney are everything.
Both actors went on to have successful careers but have left the spotlight to focus on family. Prinze Jr. recently published a cookbook and Cook does mainly voice acting work, including providing the voice for one of the main characters in Final Fantasy.
The Sisterhood Keeps Getting Bigger

The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants may have been one of the most unrealistic coming-of-age movies, but the female empowerment and bonds formed in the film last a lifetime. Alexis Bledel, America Ferreira, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively regularly keep in touch and recently snapped this photo of them celebrating Ferreira’s pregnancy.
It looks like the sisterhood is just getting bigger because all four women are now moms. Ferreira, Tamblyn, and Lively all have daughters, so now we’re all waiting on Bledel now to have a little girl and gift them the magic jeans that somehow fit everyone’s hips.
Next, this cast has maintained a tight bond since their show ended despite experiencing tragedy together.
This Reunion Was Probably Perfectly Harmonized

Glee has only been off the airways for three years, but that’s a long three years in the life of musical theatre kids. Lea Michele, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Jane Lynch all attended Becca Tobin’s wedding, who played Kitty in the series.
The original cast members are known to have stayed a tight bunch and have gone through a lot together. Michele’s boyfriend and co-star, Cory Monteith, died in 2013 due to a heroin overdose and Mark Salling recently committed suicide after being arrested for child pornography. We’re glad to see the cast has stayed strong through the sorrow.
Trekkies Unite

The easiest way to win National Selfie Day is to squeeze an ensemble cast of the Star Trek franchise into one frame. Levar Burton posted the selfie which was taken backstage at Wizard World’s Chicago Comic Con. William Shatner knew he didn’t belong in the Next Generation selfie and just ended up looking dazed and confused.
The Star Trek franchise will never end, and the most recent incarnation of films starring Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana have done exceptionally well. I hope the next move is to do a prequel version of Star Trek: The Next Generation, only because casting a young Patrick Stewart sounds nearly impossible.
Frankie Muniz Hasn’t Aged A Bit

The gang from Malcolm In The Middle got together for a quick reunion and made sure Malcolm stayed in the middle. Frankie Muniz posted the reunion photo and was joined by the sitcom’s entire cast except for Dewey. The cast still has a sense of humor and held up a photo of actor Erik Per Sullivan who is probably still stuck in the garage surrounded by cotton candy.
The reunion photo was a rare occurrence since Muniz has stated that the cast isn’t together very often. It sounds like a reboot won’t ever happen, but fans of the show should be used to disappointment. Malcolm In The Middle taught us that life is unfair.
The Wizards Of Waverly Place Cast Clean Up Nice

Unless you’re a millennial, you might not know this cast reunion photo except for one very famous face in the middle. Singer Selena Gomez recently reunited with the cast of the Disney channel show she made her start on, Wizards of Waverly Place. The cast was looking fresh for the real-life wedding of Gomez’s on-screen brother, David Henry.
Henry took to his own Instagram to thank the cast for coming and saying just how much he appreciated all that they did together. Gomez has also remained humble over the years despite her successful singing career and the fact that she is the most followed person on Instagram in the world.
Buffy The Reunion Selfie Slayer

Sarah Michelle Gellar was in so many iconic films and movies that she has one of the best Instagram accounts if you’re searching for nostalgic vibes. Besides being married (still!) to Freddie Prinze Jr. and snapping a steamy kiss with Selma Blair, Gellar also recently reunited with her old co-star, Alyson Hannigan.
Gellar and Hannigan were on-screen BFFs in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and it seems like they’re still pretty close. They snapped the selfie at a birthday party that Hannigan threw for her kid, and she made sure to invite the entire Prinze family. We love happy endings.
