Mary of Denmark is an Australian native and the wife of Prince Frederick. Prince Frederick is first in line to the nation’s throne. Mary met her husband in a pretty odd but very normal place – a Sydney pub – making their love story the original “fairytale” romance before Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Since becoming Crown Princess of Denmark, Mary has made a number of international visits, with a notable visit made to Danish soldiers inHelmand Province, Afghanistan in 2009. Mary has played an active role in promoting an anti-bullying program and a cancer foundation she called The Mary Foundation. Mary and Frederick now have four children together.
