Lost is a great show. The premise and characters were great and it got spectacular ratings. The finally may not have been what everyone was expecting but nonetheless, it was a great show. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was getting fed up with filming and once his parents passed he wanted to get home as soon as he could.

“Our Mr. Eko plans very quickly derailed,” producer Lindelof explained. “Adewale’s unhappiness was almost instantaneous. On his second episode, he was expressing extreme dissatisfaction. Originally he was going to be someone who challenged Locke for the spiritual leadership of the castaways.”
