Dan Stevens – Downton Abbey

Dan Stevens was on Downton Abbey for three years but he had other goals in mind. He wanted to go to a career on the stage and in movies so he took the chance to leave when his contract was over.

“We were always optioned for three years,” Stevens explained to The Telegraph. But it felt like a good time to take stock, to take a moment. From a personal point of view, I wanted a chance to do other things. It is a very monopolizing job. So there is a strange sense of liberation
