In 2011, Caroline Giuliani, the daughter of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was arrested for shoplifting. She was apparently caught on camera shoplifting over $100 in cosmetics. Giuliani was charged with petty larceny. In 2007, Caroline also made headlines when she listed herself as a member of Barack Obama’s Facebook group, “Barack Obama (One Million Strong for Barack),” while her father was campaigning for the Republican presidential nomination.

Talk about a scandal! It’s hard to say how much of an impact Caroline’s impact had on her father’s campaign, but he did not end up receiving the Republican presidential nomination.
