Malcolm X, one of the biggest advocates for African American rights was a Muslim minister and a human rights activist. Regarded as one of the most influential African Americans in history, his legacy is substantial. Malcolm was assassinated in 1965 by the Nation of Islam, leaving his daughter, Qubilah Shabazz, without a father.

His death had a bigger impact on his family other than leaving them distraught. Shabazz grew up obsessed with her father’s murder and, determined to seek justice, took matters into her own hands. Quibilah Shabazz was arrested in 1995 for plotting to kill Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam. Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam.
