They Deserve Better: Celebrities And Their Less-Than-Perfect Kids
The Old Hollywood Murder

Marlon Brando is one of the most famous Hollywood stars of all time. Known for playing a bad boy on screen, in real life Brando was a staunch activist for many causes including the Civil Rights Movement. Brando also had a bit of a wild side, however, and had at least sixteen known children from several wives and partners.
While most of them led stable lives, this wasn’t always the case. In 1990, Marlon’s son with actress Anna Kashfi, Christian Brando fatally shot Dag Drollet, the fiancé of his half-sister Cheyenne Brando who was reportedly being abused by Drollet.
Brando’s Sad Family History

This twisted turn of events was highly publicized during the trial. He was ultimately convicted of manslaughter. Allegedly, Cheyenne had told her brother that her fiancé was abusive towards her. Cheyenne was eight months pregnant at the time. Christian drunkenly confronted Drollet and shot him one time, claiming he was trying to scare him.
Later it was revealed that Cheyenne suffered from schizophrenia and the abuse may have never happened. Brando was later given probation after abusing his wife, Deborah. This is the kind of drama you write for the silver screen but don’t want to see played out in your own family living room.
