Why We Never Hear About Bam Margera Anymore

Starting in the early 2000s, MTV’s hit show Jackass turned a group of reckless young men into celebrities. One of these unhinged cast members was professional skateboarder Bam Margera. He may have seemed on the top of the world at the time, but we all know that a celebrity like that doesn’t stick around forever. While his Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville capitalized on his fame, Margera began to fall by the wayside. Although he lingered on television to star in equally ridiculous shows such as Viva La Bam and Bam’s Unholy Union, he eventually disappeared entirely. Now, take a look to see what happened to Bam Margera, why he disappeared, and what he’s been up to.

His Music Career Went Down The Pipes

Back in 2002, Margera started the band Gnarkill with his brother Jess, Jackass cast member Brandon DiCamillo, and a few other friends. Margera claimed that Gnarkill was nothing but a good reason for him to get drunk and record songs on his tape recorder. The band released two albums:Gnarkill in 2002, and Unkle Matt and the … in 2006.
