Amy Jo Johnson played Felicity’s good friend Julie Emrick. Both Felicity and Julie are interested in Ben Covington. In the show, Julie is a budding musician which she ultimately takes up as a career. One of the main show arcs is that Julie has come to New York to find her birth mother which she eventually is able to do.

In real life, Amy Jo Johnson is most famous for playing the pink ranger on the Mighty Power Rangers. Since Felicity, she has continued acting, singing, and directing. She most recently worked on a film called The Space Between which was written, directed, produced and acted by Amy Jo.
