A Beautiful Mind

Russell Crowe’s role in the life of economics genius and Nobel Laureate John Nash was highly fictionalized. For instance, the real-life Nash never joined Wheeler Laboratory at MIT simply because it doesn’t exist. However, he did become an instructor at the same institution.
Also, Nash never worked for the Department of Defense. He was a mathematician who made fundamental contributions to game theory and differential geometry. Instead, the movie shows him as a dad, and he never gave an acceptance speech for his Nobel Prize.
