Don Knotts may not have been considered a square in Hollywood, but he was on 1966’s famous game show “Hollywood Squares”. Knotts appeared on the show with the likes of Dionne Warwick, Robert Fuller, Jonathan Winters, Karen Valentine, George Goebel, Suzanne Pleshette, Dom DeLuise, and Paul Lynde.

Most notably during the show, Knotts was asked the question: “You’ve been having trouble going to sleep. Are you probably a man or a woman?” Knotts answered with: “That’s what’s been keeping me awake.” TV Guide has ranked “Hollywood Squares” number seven on their list of the 60 greatest game shows of all time.
