In 1996, TV Guide ranked Don Knotts #27 on their 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time list. Fast-forward four years later to January 19, 2000, the household name of comedian and actor, Don Knotts was finally awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame star primarily for his character on “The Andy Griffith Show.”

Although, that is just one of many reasons Knotts earned this award. Between his success through television, movies, fraternity life, military life, ventriloquism, and fatherhood, Knotts was honored one of Hollywood’s most admirable awards.
