Ross’s career in the Air Force spanned 20 years, and during that period he worked his way up to Master Sergeant. In his various roles, Ross admitted that he was often the “tough” and “mean” guy who had to bark orders at the recruits. Ross even admitted he was the guy who would scream at you if you didn’t make your bed properly.

How did a guy like that become the calm, cool, and collected artist with a soothing voice? When he left the Air Force he decided that he would never yell or raise his voice again.
