Nintendo Almost Made A Bob Ross Game

It’s a little strange to think an artist with a television show could be so lasting in pop culture, but Bob Ross has managed to remain endearing to the world. Ross was part of MTV promos and has had his face on everything from t-shirts to bobbleheads. Nintendo even came close to making a Bob Ross video game!

Ross was incredibly popular in Japan, where Nintendo originated from. He was even reportedly mobbed by fans when he visited the country. Nintendo picked up on his popularity and announced they were going to make a Joy Of Painting video game, but unfortunately, it ran into early production problems and never got off the ground.
