That Western Gilligan’s Island Never Worked Out

Gilligan’s Island was obviously a massive success. Schwartz was pretty unable to top his massive winning streak. While most of us would’ve thrown in the towel after the series called it quits and rested on our laurels, Schwartz wanted to go big or go home.

Because of the success of Gilligan’s Island, Schwartz decided to a show with the same premise, only this time it’d be a western. We’re not sure how he could’ve possibly thought that would work out. The show was called Dusty’s Trail, and you probably don’t remember it because it was a massive flop.
