Food Trends Made Famous By The Stars

Famous people aren’t always paid to endorse things, so when they mention something they love and it isn’t for an advertisement, regular folks are more inclined to believe them. Here are some food crazes and wacky diets that celebrities have made famous.

Khloé’s Cortaditos

In an episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, Khloé flew into town and began raving about cortaditos. A cortadito is a Cuban-style espresso drink in which fresh espresso is sweetened as it is being pulled, followed by an equal amount of freshly steamed milk.

In the episode, Khloé makes Kim drive all over town looking for a Cuban coffee shop. Sara Vasquez, who co-owns International Bakery Cuban Dulceria in Miami said, “Ever since that show where Khloé Kardashian got a cortadito, we’ve had clients asking if we have them.” They’ve even had a customer who drove all the way from Texas to try the strong drink.
