Do you Yahoo? Marissa Mayer hopes you do. The Standford graduate was the first female engineer at Google, before moving on to become the President and CEO of Yahoo. She’s led the company to meet milestones, including the acquisition of Tumblr (worth $1.1 billion). She was ranked sixth in Fortune’s 40 under 40 list in 2014, and 16th most powerful businesswoman in the world.

Now, this is a smart woman. For those who use Tumblr, you know how valuable that app is. Things that cannot be duplicated are found on Tumblr. When it was announced that it was being bought out by Yahoo, Tumblr users were irate because they thought it would change the scheme of it all. Luckily, not much changed and users stayed relatively happy. As the 16th most powerful, there are only 15 that have more power than her and that can be motivating to some people. Who knows, next year she might rise to the top five.
