Kelly Was a Little Indecisive about the 2016 Election

Kelly Clarkson is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She climbed the ladder to fame in 2002 after winning the inaugural season of American Idol. Clarkson has been referred to as the “Original American Idol” and also the “Queen of Covers.”

She has stated that she is a “Republican at heart,” but a comment made by Donald Trump that was pointed out by Bette Midler on Twitter made Clarkson think twice. Trump said, “I could walk down Fifth Avenue, shoot someone, and still not lose any votes.” Clarkson responded to Midler by saying “I am legitimately frightened for our nation.” Yikes.
