The Tower of London has some bloody history associated with it. Originally constructed by William the Conqueror in the 11th century as a fortress, it would quickly turn into a dumping zone for political enemies.

133 executions were held in the Tower of London including some of England’s most famous like Guy Fawkes and two of Henry VIII’s wives. There were many other high profile executions in the Tower including Richard III’s two young nephews, whose bones were found years after their executions.
