A Real Life Wall-E?

The creator of Peeqo has said, “Think of him as the love child of Amazon Echo and a Disney character.” This is clearly a reference to the character and Disney Pixar movie Wall-E. The film was made back in 2008, and is a heartwarming story centering around a robot who has developed sentience in an earth destroyed by mega-greed.

The Amazon Echo is a device which utilizes Alexa, which is an intelligent personal assistant released in 2016. Like the Amazon Echo, Peeqo is a conversational UI, which means that the robot can hold a conversation and even answer voice commands. Although, as mentioned before, what sets this this little robot apart is that it only responds through GIFs.
